A Reformed Shark

So, I might have gotten all teary-eyed when Elijah spotted me from across the room in the lobby of therapy this morning (quite the feat for a kiddo who tends to look down most of the time).  He walked to me smiling and laughing and planted a big ol' kiss on my face.  Kissing is kind of a new development; he's done it before, but his old kisses were a lot more scary as they were actually bites.  His kisses these days include a big open mouth and teeth (without biting) and slobber and ...sometimes they almost turn this mommy into a crying mess.

And, yes, I know it's been awhile.  We're busy and tired (I like to sleep, but our son does not). And busy.  You get the picture.
